My client, a federally focused research and consulting firm, is looking for a Mechanical Design Support Engineer to join their growing in-house design team. To start, their day to day will primarily support their federal customer in Indian Head, Maryland. This work is supporting a new, 5 year federal award for complete facility renovations in a complex, lab and industrial environment. Their day to day responsibilities will include technical reviews of design packages, preparing technical reports to summarize preventative maintenance status reports, and creation of long-term upgrade budgetary projections. This role is offering a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $180,000/year annually. This candidate will have strong remote capabilities, but needs to be willing to commute to Indian Head, MD clientsite as needed (~3-5 times/month)
