Description
We're seeking a passionate Chief Architect who is experienced in performing system architecture work with an emphasis on scalability and efficiency by adhering to an enterprise architecture framework to optimally support a computing environment that processes huge volumes of health data using data analysts and data scientists.
Responsibilities:
* Identifies and drives entire technical solution requirements in developing enterprise-wide data-driven information systems.
* Creates specific technical design, product and vendor selection, application, and technical architectures.
* Provides subject matter expertise on applicable technologies and platforms and leads the decision process to identify the best options.
* Serves as the owner of complex technology implementations, with an eye toward constant reengineering and refactoring to ensure the simplest and most elegant system possible to accomplish the desired need.
* Ensures strategic alignment of technical design and architecture to meet business growth and direction and stay on top of emerging technologies.
* Develops and manages product roadmaps, backlogs, and measurable success criteria and writes user stories.
* Enhance and maintain a systems/solutions architecture for a large data processing and reporting system of systems that supports continued growth and modernization of current data repositories and a growing pool of internal/external stakeholders.
* Reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for data-centric solutions; FinOps and Hyper-Automation advocate.
* Develop and design complex solutions through collaboration across various data, data-centric applications, and/or Big-Data cloud architectures.
* Develop solutions using the Agile framework and utilize DevSecOps hyper-automation methodology.
* Support technically advanced organizations and third parties, providing simple integrations through easy-to-use interfaces, such as REST APIs.
* Responsible for spearheading program innovations, continuous improvements, and a leader of the cultural ethos for the program (e.g. Advocate for Consumer Driven Engineering).
* Garners consensus and buy-in across technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders for strategic technical program decisions.
* Hands-On Solution Architect, the final tier-SME for assigned responsible areas
* Has the ability and willingness to manage people
