A client of Insight Global is looking for a New Relic Performance Engineer to lead a team of performance engineers. This person must have the ability to understand complex applications and how to optimize performance in a cloud computing environment to provide recommendations to multiple development team and external system interface providers during troubleshooting activities. You will be leading and integrating testing coordination across multiple systems which involves the review and identification of functional capabilities of a release and the test coverage required such as identification of network, compute, and storage performance requirements and how they enable business logic for large scale consumer facing systems. This role is offer $120-160k.

Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience building out dashboards and maintain systems using New Relic
o Experience supporting an e-commerce or large-scale transactional consumer facing system
o Experience consolidating or auditing information that New Relic is monitoring to improv efficiency
Ability to lead a team of performance engineers, manage and provide oversight over day-to-day tasks, and meet regularly with the team to discuss current and upcoming work
Create / migrate existing dashboards, reports, alerts on daily basis to provide productivity and service to business units
Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
Prior experience working with CMS contracts or healthcare contracts
Experience reviewing and validating capacity planning projections and data analysis of performance testing objectives to validate system readiness
Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies, and be quick learner
