Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Telecommunications Technician to support a large hospital system out of Baltimore, MD. This person will be responsible for providing basic to moderately complex voice connectivity and troubleshooting device issues for customers throughout the health system. Job complexity includes basic to intermediate complex Telecom switch configurations/installations, small to medium project management tasks, troubleshooting basic to moderately complex device support issues and interfacing with customers to understand needs.

12. Strong understanding of Telecommunication principles

13. Moderate to strong understanding voice communications systems and features.

14. Strong understanding of voice wiring and wall fields

15. Strong understanding of Analog services from on premise systems or Carrier supplied (POTS)

16. Strong familiarity with network and voice troubleshooting techniques

17. Ability to articulate and explain the fundamental differences between voice features and equipment.

18. Strong understanding of Avaya Communication Manger, Avaya System Manager.
