Job Description

Day to Day:
An Employer is looking to hire a Desktop Technician in Derwood, MD. This individual will be responsible for the following:
-Supporting multiple sites within Montgomery County and performing support to computers, tablets and phones: reimaging, swapping out systems, doing any replacements, data transfers, deployments, etc
-Managing and meeting strict SLA's
-Hours are Monday- Friday 8AM-5PM
-Troubleshooting syncing iPhones/Android Phones relating to Outlook
-Working on a team in a fast paced environment
-Asset Management
- Supporting full life cycle asset management for all county devices

Environment Notes: full life cycle support for all Montgomery County IT Support, 12k users, 15k assets, break fix, replacement, disposals, imaging, service help desk, everything end point device that someone i the county is using we support it. 98% windows, 2% mac.

Required Skills & Experience

- 6+ months providing IT end user support
-Experience troubleshooting extensively in Microsoft Outlook, preforming remote log ins, password resets, active directory, working with a ticketing system
-Professional, great customer service, and strong communication skills
-Ability to obtain CompTIA A+ certification within 6 months of starting
- Reliable transportation to get to and from work with occasional travel during the day
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:
-Bachelor's Degree
- ability to earn the A+ certifications within 6 months. This is a requirement to convert to a permanent employee
