Job Description

Customer is seeking Case Managers for the Southeastern Region including states: Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana, Georgia, Kentucky, and Mississippi. Customer maintains a national network of case managers tasked with inspecting home environments, informing release decisions, and connecting families to community resources. These case managers are responsible for ensuring that children are safe and living in suitable homes, as well as actively promoting family reunification. Post-Release Services (PRS) case management offers three different levels of care, tailored to the needs of the minor and their families. Level 2 case managers are dedicated for minors that require more investment with a significant amount of follow-up services is provided in order to ensure the minors' well-being and successful integration into their community. Case Managers will be sitting remotely, but MUST be okay with 70% travel up to a 200 mile radius both driving and flying for their assigned 20-30 cases.



Responsibilities:

* Inspect home environments, inform release decisions, and connect families to community resources.

* Ensure children's safety and suitable living conditions.

* Actively promote family reunification.

* Provide tailored case management services for minors and their families.

* Level 2 case managers offer extensive follow-up services for successful integration.

* Remote work with 70% travel (up to 200 miles) by driving or flying for assigned cases.

* Can have between 30-40 caseloads

* When not conducting field visits, their work revolves around essential tasks that contribute to the well-being of children and families.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or equivalent Behavioral Science degree.

- Minimum 1 year of child welfare experience.

- Knowledge of child well-being, housing, substance abuse, and community resources.

- Fluency in Spanish.

- Excellent clinical, crisis intervention, and communication skills.

- Critical assessment and analysis skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

- MUST be okay with 70% travel up to 200 mi. driving and flying

- A valid driver's license required

- Must be able to pass an FBI background check as well as a CA/N check for every state in which they have resided in the last five years.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with refugee or immigrant children.

- Cross-cultural or international background.
