Job Description

Seeking a Linux AWS System Administrator to maintain the server environment supporting SDLC Projects. We are seeking a motivated candidate with excellent troubleshoot skills and interest in learning.

Required Skills & Experience

Basic requirements:

* 7+ years of experience with Linux systems administration, integration, monitoring and engineering

* AWS Administration experience is required, AWS associate practitioner certification is strongly desired

* 5+ years of engineering experience (setting up, maintaining, administering, etc.), including Jenkins, GitLab, SonarQube, Nexus, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes

* 5+ years of experience in Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, etc.), LDAP integration with active directory, and application security (SSO, OAuth, SAML, PingFederate)

* Ability to develop and monitor server jobs

* 5+ years of experience in developing/reviewing SDLC work products and artifacts

* Experience using Agile development methods and processes

* Ability to develop time and effort estimation of design and development work to support sprint planning

* Strong ability to work independently, self-review work products, and self-manage concurrent priority tasks

* Good oral and written communication skills

* Good trouble shooting and resolution skills

* BA or BS degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, or related field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Experience with API-services, COTS integration, Big Data and search technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Solr, Zookeeper, ElasticSearch, etc.)

* Must be able to get federal government PIV badge and go through background investigation
