A client of Insight Global is looking for a senior level Windows System Administrator to join dynamic their team of 6 in Linthicum, MD. This person will sit fully onsite to support an enterprise IT and Infrastructure environment. This individual will be expected to troubleshoot and monitor physical and virtual servers, manage active directory policies and permissions for different groups. The current environment is a mix between Linux, Windows, and network related issues. As the Sr. Principal Systems Administrator, this person will be working independently and will act as a point of escalation at times for more junior system administrators.
Bachelors and 9 years of experience can take years of experience in lieu of a degree
Active Secret Clearance
o Ability to be read on for a SAP
8570 compliant (Sec+CE, CCNA, SSCP, CSA+)
Extensive hands on experience working with Windows on both physical and virtual environments
Experience working with Active Directory and GPOs
Experience stigging, performing vulnerability scans, and patching environments
Experience utilizing Nessus, ACAS, or Splunk for vulnerability scanning
Previously worked in a managerial or leadership role
Linux experience
