An employer in the Baltimore, MD area is in search of a strong Business Intelligence Analyst. This person will facilitate report content design and establishes reporting scope and prioritization. They will act as the Reporting Workbench and Radar administrator for the organization. This position will administer self-service solutions and facilitate and maintain the analytics catalog. The analyst also serves as the first point of contact to identify appropriate solutions for various reporting needs, as well as identifies gaps in reporting solutions to initiate new development. Having a background within EPIC - specifically Clarity, Caboodle and Cogito is important as the employer heavily uses EPIC for data management. This person will be working closely with the PM and BI Manager to ensure the proper timely buildout of all reports via assigned tickets. There are occasional EPIC upgrades that this person might work with the team to help roll out. Any background with SQL is a huge plus but not required. Candidates close to the Baltimore area are preferred to be able to join team building events, however it is not required. This remote is fully remote. Previous experience working in a customer facing role is important as this person will be interfacing with the Information Technology teams internal customers.
Holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences, Math Information Systems or a related field
2-4 years of experience working as a Business Intelligence Analyst working on report generation and build out
Experience working with EPIC Cogito for reporting build out
Experience interfacing with internal end-customers
Any EPIC certifications or experience working within EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
Experience working with SQL
Experience working with Clinical/Healthcare data
