Our client is looking for an electronic security program manager to sit in Windsor Mill, MD. This individual will be responsible for:
* Operational Support: Collaborate with the Program Manager to oversee day-to-day service desk operations, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and standards.
* Team Management: Assist in leading and mentoring the service desk team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure a high-performing and cohesive team.
* Service Quality Assurance: Monitor service desk performance, analyze key metrics, and contribute to efforts to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Client Interaction: Engage with key clients alongside the Program Manager, understand their security needs, and assist in addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
* Process Improvement: Contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvements to streamline operations and increase overall service quality.
* Technical Expertise: Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies related to electronic security systems and services, providing technical guidance and support to the team as needed.
* Reporting and Analysis: Assist in generating regular reports on service desk performance and trends, supporting data-driven decision-making and improvements.
* Budget Support: Collaborate on the development and management of the service desk budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining service quality.
* Compliance and Standards: Help ensure that all service desk operations comply with industry security standards, regulations, and company policies.
* Vendor and Partner Interaction: Support interactions with external vendors and partners to procure necessary resources and tools for the service desk.
* Bachelor's degree in related field (IT, security management) or equivalent work experience
* Experience managing an electronic security, networking, electrical, IT focused program and ability to communicate with contracting officers
* Previous experience in a leadership role within the electronic security industry
* Strong team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members
* Strong knowledge of electronic security systems and technologies
* US Citizenship required
* Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
