Job Description

Insight Global is looking for Clinical Director to support a Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic and Partial Hospitalization Program in Annapolis, MD and serve as the a clinical expertand provide oversight for the Mental Health Clinicians in the Luminis Health J Kent McNew Inpatient unit This position provides best practice clinical services to patients with mental health disorders and provides comprehensive supervision of the counseling and social work staff.

Performs duties according to established standards for age groups adolescent through geriatric using knowledge of principles of growth and development over the life span.

Develops and administers management, coordination, and integration of clinical services to meet the clinical, social and support needs of the identified patient population. Assumes responsibility for organizing appropriate patient focused clinical services by teams of clinical caregivers and administrative and support staff who deliver those services in coordination with the Director of Behavioral Health Programs.

Develops, implements and evaluates clinical performance against quality indicator. Participates in the development of Process Improvement, Joint Commission, local, state, federal and governing body policies and procedures.

Works collaboratively with the clinical team to facilitate the development, communication and implementation of the divisions' strategic plan that is consistent with the vision and goals of the behavioral health program.

Works collaboratively with the clinical team to facilitate the development, communications and implementation of the departmental strategic plan that is consistent with the center's vision, mission and goals.

Assists in improving the financial performance for the service by assisting in the planning and achievement of the utilization management provided in the least intensive most cost effective and clinically appropriate setting.

Assists in reviewing market research and recommends promotional and other marketing activities consistent with the market needs.

Collaboratively insures ongoing effective communication and information sharing about the program at all levels of the organization and in the community.

Leads multi-disciplinary treatment team for each client to include psychiatrists,, nurse practitioner, nurses, counselors and family involvement.

Will oversee the hiring, training and coaching of counseling and social work employees, ensuring all are knowledgeable of policies and procedures of the program. Will evaluate employees on a continuous basis offering a formal performance review annually.

Required Skills & Experience

Masters Degree in Social Work

3+ years in clinical supervisory role working with adults and adolescent populations with co-occurring substance and mental health disorders. Experience supervising Addiction Counselors preferred.

Certified Social Worker- Clinical (LCSW-C) from the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiner.

Outpatient Experience

Experience working through Joint Commission Surveys
