Day to Day
A client of Insight Global's is in need of a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience surrounding FPGA/RF. This candidate will be working with 1-3 different product lines at a time and may act as the leader for small teams developing/updating these products (ex. RF Radiators, RF Cat Cable Testers, Ots Radios, etc). Their main responsibilities will include:
· Designing hardware solutions for a variety of technical products
· Aid in schematic capture and circuit card design, Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) hardware and firmware design, and embedded microcontroller design
o Schematic capture in Mentor Graphics DxDesigner
· Create, maintain and follow Interface Control Documents (ICDs), specifications and test procedures for circuit card assemblies and system integration
o May independently determine and develop approach to solutions
· Contributes to and/or ensures the completion of milestones associated with specific projects
o Reports status including schedule progress and problems/issues
Working closely with hardware in a lab setting, and debugging using lab equipment
