Job Description

A global manufacturing client is looking for a Data Analyst to Champion their PSD implementation. The Data Analyst will create a PFAS Inventory for PSD using data from existing systems, constructing data when needed, influencing data elements in new systems, and reporting to various internal stakeholders or external regulatory requests. The Project Champion will engage with the project at a deeper level than the Project Sponsor. They are responsible for ensuring the project meets project goals and objectives, bridging the gap between the strategy and tactical execution. They are often called upon to address the obstacles and to be a key engagement point for stakeholders. They will create and maintain PFAS Inventory for PSD globally with data from legacy systems, allowing material percent weight calculations at the finished good level. This person will identify missing data elements and partner with business, plant, and manufacturing associates to fill in gaps and construct data. They will create a process for ongoing maintenance and sustainment of PFAS Inventory until system of record has been identified and implemented (Product Compliance Module, S4/HANA, PLM?). They will partner with Enterprise Sustainability Data Steward to construct appropriate PFAS related data in new system(s). This position will be a 1 year contract and 100% remote.

Required Skills & Experience

* Ability to manipulate large amounts of data

* Experience creating databases

* Experience with Manufacturing (Engineering, Operations, etc.) or Supply Chain

* Ability to influence and communicate clearly and effectively

* Strength in defining data requirements, data collection, processing, transformation, manipulation, cleaning, analysis, modeling, visualization and reporting.

* Ability to perform %wt calculations.

* Basic understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes (Make processes, start to finish: Raw material -> Finished good)

* Ability to perform general analysis and statistical modeling on existing data sets in various areas of PSD businesses (PFAS inventory)

* Examines and identifies data patterns and trends to help answer business questions and improve decision-making
