Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join one of our largest clients in the College Park, MD area. This candidate will be supporting a University in the area for renovations, upgrades, and potentially new builds. The ideal candidate will have:



- 5 years of progressively responsible experience with building electrical distribution systems (120/208 and 277/480 volts) required.

- Experience with high voltage (13,800 volts) distribution is a plus.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. EIT/FE preferred.

- Ability to drive to meeting and project sites.

- Knowledge of building electrical systems and applicable codes, products and best practices in the installation of electrical systems.

- Knowledge of codes such as NEC, NFPA 70 and 70B.

- Ability to design electrical systems and coordinate them with other building systems.

- Must be an effective communicator, both in oral and written form.

- Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks and projects possessing conflicting priorities.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD.

- Ability to use Microsoft Office programs, Gmail and other office software
