Insight Global is seeking a Azure Data Architect for a large IT Managed Services Company to work on a Government project. The current project is migrating a 25 year old Oracle Database (8 Terrabytes of Data -- pure data) into a Microsoft Environment. Will be moving an oracle onprem database into cloud dataverse then onto a data lake. From there will be migrating sharepoint and Powerbi to the datalake as well. Modernize and move into MS Suite of solutions: workflow, SharePoint, automation forms, etc. most of that is covered but digging into the project lead architect came back and seeing a need for data lake coming into this. Broader toolset needed to manage and relay this data to other environments. Will need to feed those metrics back to Oracle but they have a resource provided from the end client to cover Oracle Expertise. Looking for someone to have experience with modern data integration, warehousing and big data analytics with Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, SSIS. Have experience in ETL and reporting tools such as Azure Data Factory (pipeline, Databricks...). Power BI. Have experience in batch and streaming data processing. Good to have data engineer and/or machine learning trainings/certification
