Job Description

This Lab Tech role involves testing and analyzing water and soil samples for the SGS EH&S lab in Scarborough Maine. Daily responsibilities include loading instrumentation and analyzing samples using chromatography data, typically ranging from 20 to 80 samples per day. Technicians work alongside 23 team members to process and interpret results, reporting directly to the department supervisor. Experience with LCMS, PFAS, and Waters instrumentation (Waters Connect) is highly valued. This requires to be on site 5 days a week from the hours of 8 - 5.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience with PFAS testing
Experience using LCMS equipment and techniques
1+ year of professional experience in chemistry with a focus on chromatography

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Waters Connect information system
