The compensation for this role ranges from $65/hr to 70/hr depending on skillset, education, and years of experience. Benefits are also offered for this role.

Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Master's Degree is a plus
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Experience with hydroelectric projects, dams/levees, hydraulic structures, heavy civil, or power and industrial projects (other water resource facilities experience also considered)
5-10 Years Structural Engineering experience
Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, SAFE, or similar tools
Prior experience with architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firms
Cross-disciplinary experience in structural and geotechnical projects (e.g., dam assessments and inspections, retaining wall design and analysis, post-tensioned anchorage design and analysis, seismic analysis, etc.)
Review structural documents for areas of conflict across various disciplines
Write and edit structural specifications, including procedure selection, materials, sizes, and calculations
Independently manage and coordinate the structural design team during design development and contract document phases
Organize meetings and collaborate with governing agencies to ensure code compliance
Conduct design development and contract document work sessions at project sites alongside the Project Manager and other disciplines
Coordinate workload during design development and construction document phases to ensure timely completion
Assist affected disciplines with addenda, requests for information, change proposals, and change orders, and incorporate agreed-upon changes into project documents
