Job Description

A large Construction Project Management firm is hiring a Senior Project Manager to support one of their industry leading utility clients in the northeast. As a Project Manager, you will be assisting the leadership over multi-disciplinary teams, guiding them through Engineering, Procurement, and Construction phases across a large-scale Power Delivery project. This will include the full scale upgrade of multiple Transmission & Distribution projects across the Northeast region. You'll drive the success of projects from initiation to closure, overseeing project structures, work plans, risks, scope, schedule, and budget. Adept at team management, you'll facilitate commitment, productivity, and hurdle removal, ensuring seamless execution. Incorporating your expertise, you'll implement and manage quality and environmental processes across all projects, prioritizing achievement of SPI and CPI performance indicators below 1.0. Beyond internal projects, you'll manage third-party collaborations, coordinating with transmission owners and interconnecting customers. You will be the driving force behind essential functions, such as cost/budgeting, communication management, change management, schedule management, construction and commissioning oversight, risk management, and regulatory/stakeholder engagement. Your pivotal role will foster project success, compliance, and meaningful collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

o 10 years or more of experience in Project Management, 3 years in large projects.

o Bachelor's degree is required. Professional Engineer License.

o Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

o Project Management Professional or Program Management Professional

o Experience in the functional area under which it will be contracted: Substations, T&D, Gas-Hydro and OSG.
