An employer in New Orleans is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer. The Embedded Software Engineer will perform software requirements analysis, design, implementation, and integration of embedded software for military systems. Our client has a piece of hardware replicating military grade weapons and this individual will be responsible for contributing to the embedded engineering efforts that help the hardware show real time data updates on the state of the simulated weapon.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Extensive chip level design experience
6+ years Embedded Engineer experience
Experience with microcontrollers and state machine
Proven ability to implement embedded software, modular applications with Model/software
Understanding of data collection and analysis of sensor systems
Familiarity with embedded board level designs and ability to develop/debug low level software
Knowledge of sensor communication protocols and able to read schematics
