Insight Global is seeking a Remote Piping Designer to join one of our oil and gas EPC Clients! The Piping Designer will perform assignments associated with designing Piping equipment, components, structures or systems. This individual will be responsible for completing design packages which may include, but not be limited to, preliminary, conceptual, and construction deliverables as well as engineering calculations.
This individual will prepare detailed drawings of parts and assemblies from layouts, designs and working drawings including necessary projections, sectional views and standard specifications. In addition, interpret verbal or written direction to initiate a preliminary design, assist with stress analysis, compiling construction specifications, equipment and material procurement, calculations, and estimates. Lastly this person will be required to check design drawings.
