Insight Global is seeking a Project Technical Manager to support the engineering, procurement, and construction of hyperscale, mission-critical data centers across the United States. This individual will serve as the primary technical lead for assigned projects, ensuring designs are executed correctly, technical issues are resolved efficiently, and construction stays on schedule. This role will lead Field Engineers and coordinate contractors, suppliers, vendors, and construction teams to resolve RFIs, design conflicts, constructability concerns, and other field execution challenges. They will oversee BIM coordination, manage technical risks, and ensure alignment across all project stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a hands-on Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background with experience supporting large-scale data centers or other mission-critical facilities, including hospitals, semiconductor plants, telecommunications facilities, or nuclear sites. They should have a strong understanding of critical facility systems, including cooling infrastructure, chillers, cooling distribution systems, utility power, and data center power distribution. This individual will provide on-site technical leadership for projects ranging from $500M to $1B, serving as a key liaison between owners, engineering firms, contractors, and equipment vendors. Experience supporting hyperscale projects for AWS, Microsoft, Meta/Facebook, or similar operators is highly preferred. Exposure to AI and machine learning infrastructure is a plus.The Project Technical Manager will lead and develop a team of Field Engineers, manage technical interfaces between engineering contractors, suppliers, and construction teams, and drive resolution of RFIs, design clarifications, clashes, and constructability concerns. They will provide project-level oversight of BIM coordination, support standardization initiatives, and identify technical risks that could impact schedule, cost, or execution. This role works closely with project leadership to ensure technical alignment across all project stakeholders while supporting predictable project delivery.

Required Skills & Experience
• 10-15+ years of engineering, field engineering, construction engineering, or technical project execution experience
• 5+ years of data center experience (10+ years preferred)
• Hands-on Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background
• Experience supporting mission-critical facilities such hospitals, semiconductor plants, telecommunications facilities, or nuclear sites
• Strong understanding of cooling systems, including chillers and cooling distribution infrastructure
• Strong understanding of data center power systems, power distribution, and utility power integration
• Experience leading field engineering teams and resolving RFIs, design conflicts, and constructability challenges
• Experience coordinating engineering contractors, suppliers, vendors, and construction teams
• Experience supporting large-scale projects valued between $500M-$1B
Ability to work on-site and provide technical leadership throughout project execution
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Direct experience with AWS, Microsoft, Meta/Facebook, or other hyperscale operators
• Project Engineer or Project Manager background
• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure within data centers
• Experience with modular construction, PEMB structures, or vendor-engineered equipment packages
• Experience supporting BIM coordination and digital model reviews
Experience with large-scale EPC, industrial, or mission-critical projects
