Job Description
We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to support general and preventative maintenance across a large hospitality property in Vinton, LA. This role is hands-on and focused on keeping facilities running safely and efficiently.
What You’ll Do
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues across the property
• Respond to emergency situations (power outages, leaks, etc.)
• Install and repair:
o Electrical wiring, conduit, and lighting (including parking lot lighting)
o Plumbing systems and fixtures
o Air handler units and cooling towers
• Conduct general repairs, including:
o Ceiling and drywall (water damage)
o Kitchen and facility equipment
o Basic TV and fixture repairs
• Clear drains using appropriate tools (e.g., electric snake)
• Perform minor welding and metal fabrication as needed
• Maintain and repair high-voltage equipment and motor controls

Required Skills & Experience
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience (commercial or hospitality preferred)
• Hands-on experience with:
o Electrical and plumbing systems
o Preventative maintenance programs
o Emergency response situations
• HVAC experience is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Comfortable working in tight spaces and performing physical tasks (bending, kneeling, lifting, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and ability to use a two-way radio
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
