Job Description
The Procurement Specialist supports day‑to‑day procurement operations for the manufacturing site, with a primary focus on requisition processing, purchase order creation, PO tracking, expediting, and supplier coordination. This role works closely with plant stakeholders, suppliers, and the site procurement team to ensure timely and accurate purchase execution in support of production and maintenance needs. The ideal candidate has foundational procurement experience and thrives in a fast‑paced, execution‑focused environment.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree required in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of hands-on procurement experience with a focus on:
• Requisition processing
• Purchase order creation and execution
• PO tracking, follow‑up, and expediting
• Supplier communication and issue resolution
• Working knowledge of procure‑to‑pay processes in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience using ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred; SAP ECC acceptable)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open POs and priorities
• Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with Coupa or similar e‑procurement tools
• Exposure to materials control or MRP‑driven inventory processes
• Manufacturing or plant‑based procurement experience
