Insight Global is seeking a Senior Structural Planner for a large shipbuilding maritime client in Lockport, LA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coordinating structural fitting and welding activities, with extensive experience in the structural craft field and excellent organizational and communication skills. This role involves planning and coordinating structural fitting and welding work, reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, utilizing MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook for planning and documentation, communicating effectively with team members and other departments to ensure a smooth workflow, managing multiple tasks to meet project deadlines, and ensuring all structural activities comply with industry standards and specifications.
