Job Description
A large chemical manufacturing client of Insight Global is seeking a Lead Designer to join their Design team in Plaquemine, LA. This person will be responsible for drawing and modeling equipment designs, taking designs from internal team and contractors and putting them into piping models, and ensuring all disciplines are interacting accurately throughout the design process for multiple small and large scale projects. This person will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting status and progression of projects. The established pay rate for this position is $50-56/hr, depending on experience.

Required Skills & Experience
· 5+ years of multidisciplinary design experience, with a strong understanding of how they interact
· 4+ years of experience with intelligent design
○ AutoCAD Plant 3D
○ Aveva PDMS or E3D
· Ability to monitor/report status and progression of projects
