Insight Global is seeking to hire an F/A 18 Electrical Technician for one of our clients in New Orleans, LA. Responsibilities for this position include removing and installing avionics/electrical and related components and gear, performing daily pre and post flight and periodic aircraft inspections, performing flight operation activities to include daily, turnaround, launch and recovery including plane captain activities, overseeing assembly, disassembly, or overhaul, and configuring aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment. The pay range for this position is $25/hr-$35/hr depending on years of experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in military fighter aircraft maintenance
Willing to work variable shifts; including days, evenings, nights and weekends
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
Minimum of 1 year of experience reading and interpreting technical publications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Must be able to work outdoors under all types of weather conditions with exposure to loud noise and exhaust fumes
Fighter Avionics/Electrical modification experience
F/A-18 (AT/AE) Qualifications
Prior experience with Navy 4790.1 requirements
