A gas utility client of Insight Global is looking for a Timekeeper/Payroll Clerk to support daily timekeeping operations. This role will support data entry, record maintenance, and timely processing while providing excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries. In this role, you will accurately and promptly enter employee hours, timecard corrections, and payroll data into the payroll system. You will assist in verifying timekeeping entries for accuracy and compliance with company policies, respond to basic employee inquiries regarding pay, timesheets, or deductions, and escalate issues related to time discrepancies or missing information to the appropriate stakeholders. Additionally, you will support payroll staff by preparing and verifying timekeeping data for payroll processing, ensure the confidentiality and security of employee payroll data, and perform other clerical duties as assigned. This role is onsite in New Orleans, LA with the pay rate range of $17-$22/hr.
