Job Description

A client in New Orleans needs to add a Senior Level Structural Designer to assist with a large project within their Civil and Environmental Engineering team. The Structural Designer will be working and communicating side by side with the engineers responsible for drainage and site design. They will be responsible for creating full sets of construction documents, coordinate construction drawings with other disciplines for compliance, alignment and correctness. This is a one year contract to hire role, working in office 4-5 days a week on a 9/80 schedule.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5 years minimum experience in grading and drainage, site development
- Experience in the development of Civil3D models and drawings
- Experience / Work with the engineering staff in the preparation of site, grading, drainage and other civil related design documents
- Able to produce plans, sections and details with little guidance.
