We are looking for 3 Environmental Project Managers: 1 junior level, 1 mid-level, and 1 senior level. These resources will be involved in strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and risk management. They are responsible for creating and implementing procedures to ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations. Engaging proactively to support growth initiatives while managing environmental risks. Making sure that all environmental requirements are met for assigned construction projects. Key responsibilities also include:
Conducting Initial Evaluations: Carry out initial desktop ecological impact assessments for assigned construction projects, including estimating costs for environmental permitting and mitigation.
Coordinating with Environmental Project Services related to:
o Additional desktop and field ecological impact evaluations to support construction project permitting, including permit applications and acquisition (air, water, stormwater, wetlands, natural resources, endangered species, local/county).
o Correspondence with commenting agencies required for permit issuance (USEPA, USFWS, NOAA, SHPO, and state regulatory agencies).
o Developing work plans for spoil management, environmental impact avoidance, stream crossing, and equipment management.
o Conducting required site inspections for permit compliance and pollution prevention.
Supporting Due Diligence Investigations: Assist with Phase I and II investigations related to real estate transactions.
Interfacing with Regulatory Agencies: Ensure proper permitting by liaising with necessary regulatory bodies.
Providing Guidance and Support: Offer advice and support to internal stakeholders on environmental issues, and be well-versed in site-specific environmental permits, timelines, and plans. Present and distribute concise, timely, and accurate summaries, review routine reports for project management and leadership, and negotiate with state and federal agencies to achieve favorable outcomes.
Escalating Risks: Immediately report risks to the assigned contract supervisor or project manager and develop work plans to mitigate these risks as needed.

Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or Engineering from an accredited college or university
Hands on experience with environmental risk management for construction projects
Energy industry experience
