Job Description

This role would:



Assist in developing Littoral Craft capabilities and requirements documents



Provide input on boat selection processes for future acquisitions



Assist in refining optimal crew composition and task organization to include Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) and ranks



Evaluate and refine the list of required boat equipment and individual equipment necessary to safely conduct military training activities



Assist in developing training plans and identifying training sources for individuals, boat crews and maintenance personnel



Assist in defining qualifications, roles, and responsibilities for crew positions and the process for obtaining the qualifications



Assess training locations, areas, and support facilities



Assist in defining logistics support required for craft operations

Required Skills & Experience

10 or more years of relevant experience in small boat operations ideally



Mission Planning Experience dealing with infantry



Strong organizational and time management skills with an understanding of project timelines and deadlines



Possess excellent analytical and communications skills



Have or able to obtain a US security clearance



Ability to travel within the US and internationally as needed



Due to client requirements, US Citizenship is required

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in developing or conducting test plans to evaluate suitability of small boats for military operations



Experience in developing or implementing training plans for small boat crews/operators



Experience in evaluating military or government boat crew training activities



Experience in assessing training locations, areas and support facilities for small boat operations
