Insight Global is looking for a System Administrator for a client in New Orleans, LA. This individual will troubleshoot customer issues and work on service requests. This individual will be responsible for the duties including but not limited to implementing new application features, participate in the installation and patch life cycle, and provide tier two/three support for assigned applications. They will also manage user roles and responsibilities to ensure the safety of personnel, property, and data on both hardware and software. This role could take someone to several different sites to troubleshoot security hardware, investigate issues that may or may not happen, troubleshoot application issues, support users, etc. This individual will work with various vendors and stakeholders so strong communication skills are required.
-Development: Bach / command line/ scripts/ PowerShell
-Experience with card access - pulling SQL queries to understand how to understand a population that's missed or break fix issues.
-Hands-on experience with upgrades
-Automation experience
