First-Shift Cage Processing Technician

Insight Global is seeking a Cage Wash Technician to join a large University in New Orleans, LA! This individual will join their research administration department for laboratory testing and preventative disease testing. This individual will perform cage washing, sanitation, and preparation for use in a research setting and monitor equipment and conditions and minor maintenance. Employees will take specific direction for cautions against hazardous agents. This is a great opportunity if you are interested in a career path and growth potential.

- High School Diploma
- Ability to use industrial equipment such as pallet jacks, floor scrubbing machines, and cage and rack washers autoclaves
- Ability to pass required occupational health screening for animal handler health surveillance program on annual basis
- Experience working in a lab environment for sanitation and maintenance
- Available to work 7am-3pm
