Job Description

A client in New Orleans has 1 opening for a Data Quality Analyst to join their Data Science Warehouse team. This role will help input and pull data from various sources, in order to confirm that systems are talking to each other. This role will work alongside a functional BA to help gather requirements. The Data Quality Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data within the organization. This position's primary responsibility is to assess and improve data quality across various systems, databases, and processes focusing primarily on internal data.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelor's Degree with 1 year of relevant experience or with 6 years of proven experience as a Data Quality Analyst.

Analyst or in a similar role

-Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in data.

-Familiarity with data quality management principles, practices, and industry standards.

-Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data privacy regulations, and compliance

requirements.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams

-Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

-Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Experience with SQL or Data Modeling

-Familiarity Cognos, PowerBI

-Experience with data quality tools and data profiling software.
