Insight Global is looking for a Controller to join a client's team in New Orleans! This person will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and providing accurate financial information to support decision making. This role will require expertise in accounting for government contracts and will be essential in preparing and submitting contract invoices, reports, and ensuring compliance with government regulations and accounting standards. Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and financial statement. Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- 6-10 years of experience in Finance and Accounting
- Finance mindset - looking for solutions to financial problems
- Strong understanding of Accounting
- Experience with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks or similar
- Strong understanding of government contract regulations and compliance requirements
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
