Job Description
A client in New Orleans has 1 opening for a Quality Assurance Analyst stilling fully remote. The QA Analyst will be responsible for executing testing procedures to ensure software meets established quality standards. Prepares data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows. Isolates, reproduces, tracks defects, and verifies fixes. Documents testing according to required procedures. Familiar with software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies. May assist with the creation of new testing scripts and plans. The Software Quality Assurance Analyst I work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.
Required Skills & Experience
* 2-8 years' work experience in software quality assurance
* Strong knowledge of fundamental QA practices
* Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
* Experience with manual testing
* Experience with UI testing
* Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate with various teams & sr engineers/automation team as well as desire to grow within the organization
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Experience working in a SAFe/Scaled Agile environment
* Experience creating test plans, test cases, dashboards, and pipelines in Azure DevOps
* Experience with test automation (C#, Selenium, ReadyAPI, etc)
* Experience with other types of testing (API, database, back-end, etc)
