Job Description

Work closely with marketing strategists and product owners to research and develop content plans.



Publish a quarterly digital content roadmap and be accountable for delivering on plan.



Manage and maintain content assets, to be published across a variety of channels (owned media, paid media, shared media).



Contribute editorial ideas for ongoing and pro-active content marketing deliverables.



Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, agile environment.



Adhere to and maintain Entergy brand standards such as the voice, tone, etc.



Create B2B & B2C thought leadership, demand generation, and sales enablement content -- including blog and social media posts, infographics, ebooks, multimedia content, collateral, and more.



Edit and proofread existing content to ensure accuracy and consistency across channels.





Create accompanying graphics via a design platform like Adobe Spark or Canva.



When needed, collaborate with graphic designers and external agency partners for multimedia content development.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree required



3+ years' experience of a blend of B2B and B2C copywriting.



A background that includes both print and digital content creation, editing, and proofreading.



Expert-level knowledge of AP style.



Fluency in standard business applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.



Familiarity with graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Spark.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience of a blend of B2B and B2C copywriting .



Creative storyteller with an ability to develop copy that uniquely and creatively highlights the benefits of the programs and services provided to Entergy customers.



Detail-oriented with solid copywriting, editing and proofreading skills.



Expert-level knowledge of AP style.



Experience in both short-form and long-form content.



Highly collaborative working style with a knack for being able to partner cross functionally.



Ability to adjust messaging and tone based on brand guidelines and target audience.



Experience creating print and digital content that is informative, unique, and effective in converting a variety of customer types.



Firm understanding of User Experience and SEO basics in relation to content creation.
