Day to Day:
Insight Global is looking for a Principal Solutions Architect who is eager and ready to grow in a fast-paced environment. In this role, a typical day involves partnering with Sales Executive teams to identify customer needs and develop strategic solutions, while communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership. You will gather requirements and design scalable, efficient solutions, build proposals and bills of materials, and deliver product demonstrations and training sessions. Responsibilities also include developing Statements of Work, estimating level of effort for services, and working closely with Inside Sales to ensure accurate solution configurations. You will manage a pipeline of opportunities, support post-sales implementation efforts when needed, stay current on emerging technologies, and provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers.

Required Skills & Experience
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of 8 years of experience delivering engineering services
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)
• Advanced certifications within architecture domain
• Experience working with VARs or Systems Integrators in a similar capacity9300
• Strong experience designing enterprise solutions for large organizations (e.g., Fortune 500)
• Technical expertise across multiple disciplines, including:
Ø Data Storage and Backup Solutions
Ø Data Center Networking (Layer 2 & 3 – Cisco, Arista, Juniper)
Ø Software Defined Infrastructure (SDI)
Ø Network Security (NGFW – Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Checkpoint)
Ø Virtualization and Hyperconverged infrastructure (VMware)
• Strong presentation and communication skills with executive-level audiences
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-volume environments
