Job Description
An employer is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Erlanger, KY to support product development and laboratory operations. This role will batch formulas and prototypes, perform analytical testing, prepare samples, and support scientists in meeting customer requirements.
Responsibilities include modifying formulas, screening flavors and colors, conducting stability testing and sensory evaluations, generating laboratory data, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with ISO and laboratory procedures.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Required Skills & Experience
High school diploma required; Food Science, Chemistry, or related degree preferred
1–3 years of laboratory, quality, or product development experience
Strong math skills and attention to detail
Basic analytical testing and laboratory equipment experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Food Science, Chemistry, or related educational background
Experience in food, beverage, flavor, or manufacturing environments
Experience with AS400, LEAD, Wildware, or similar systems
Familiarity with ISO procedures, stability testing, and sensory evaluations
Experience using pH meters, spectrophotometers, Brix meters, or similar lab equipment
