Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics / Trucking Data Entry Specialist to support daily transportation operations. This individual will play a key role in coordinating truck scheduling, processing shipment documentation, and ensuring accurate data entry related to linehaul, carrier activity, and import freight.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and input data for scheduled and ad hoc truck movements (30+ scheduled trucks daily plus additional ad hoc volume)
Manage trucking operations including linehaul coordination, hazmat documentation, and carrier communications
Process and maintain shipment documentation, manifests, and freight records for import shipments
Monitor shared inbox and handle 90% of communication via email, ensuring timely and accurate responses
Collaborate with internal linehaul teams and make occasional phone calls to resolve shipment or scheduling issues
Maintain and update Excel-based tracking reports
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all logistics data to support operational efficiency

Tuesday–Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Required Skills & Experience

Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or trucking environments
Understanding of truck scheduling, freight flows, and basic load planning
Strong attention to detail with ability to manage high-volume, repetitive data entry
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic reporting and tracking); Power BI exposure is a plus
Excellent written communication skills, especially in email-based coordination
Reliable, punctual, and able to work 100% onsite in a fast-paced environment
Must be eligible to obtain a SIDA badge and comply with all airport security requirements
