They will also process cash receipts, third-party payments, and regulatory disbursements through enterprise billing systems while ensuring all activities align with contractual and compliance requirements. A key component of this role involves partnering directly with third-party settlement agents and customers to investigate discrepancies, resolve invoicing issues, and ensure accurate reconciliation of all balances due or owed. This individual must be highly detail-oriented and comfortable working cross-functionally with accounting, finance, and operations teams to drive timely resolution and maintain strong relationships across all stakeholders. Additionally, this role contributes to ongoing process improvement initiatives by identifying manual workflows and supporting automation efforts to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the settlements function.
