Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to support a large, enterprise-level organization within its centralized support services function. This role will sit under an IT Controller and focus heavily on supporting IT financial operations, spend tracking, and strategic decision-making. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for building and maintaining financial dashboards and delivering executive-level reporting that provides visibility into IT spend, budget performance, and project-level financials. This individual will play a key role in budgeting and forecasting cycles, helping evaluate financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.

On a daily basis, the analyst will partner closely with the IT Controller and cross-functional technology leaders to analyze spend, support investment requests, and build business cases for new initiatives. They will track ongoing projects and report on value realization, ensuring alignment between financial performance and expected outcomes. This role also includes identifying cost-saving opportunities across IT operations and improving financial transparency through data-driven insights. The position is highly collaborative and requires strong communication skills, as this individual will regularly present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis / FP&A (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis)
• Strong experience with financial reporting + executive-level presentations
• Experience supporting IT finance / IT spend / technology budgets
• Advanced Excel skills (modeling, large data sets, pivot tables, etc.)
• Experience building and maintaining dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience working directly with an IT Controller or technology business unit
• Experience with investment requests / capital planning / ROI analysis
• Background in cost savings initiatives + value realization tracking
Experience with financial systems (Hyperion, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
