Job Summary
The Site Manufacturing Technology Manager is responsible for leading the site’s engineering and technical organization to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations. This role oversees engineering, maintenance, and reliability activities while serving as the technical owner of the site’s process and equipment standards.
The Manager partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, Supply Chain, Finance, and Corporate Engineering teams to improve equipment uptime, production capacity, quality, and cost performance. This position also acts as the site’s Engineering Manager of record and plays a key role in advancing technology, automation, and digital tools across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the site’s multidisciplinary engineering team, including process/chemical, electrical & instrumentation, reliability, and manufacturing technology engineers
· Coordinate cross-discipline engineering problem solving to resolve equipment, process, and reliability issues
· Lead the development and execution of maintenance and reliability programs
· Drive improvement in key performance metrics such as MTBF, MTTR, preventive and predictive maintenance compliance, backlog aging, and maintenance cost effectiveness
· Ensure equipment reliability and mechanical integrity programs align with regulatory and corporate requirements
· Lead engineering support for capital projects from concept through commissioning and startup
· Ensure projects are properly scoped, risks are identified early, and lifecycle considerations are applied
· Assign and guide engineers during design reviews, installation, controls integration, constructability, and commissioning activities
· Identify opportunities to modernize automation, controls, predictive maintenance, and digital data systems
· Review budgets and project schedules on a monthly basis to support business and production objectives
· Direct maintenance supervisors, planners/schedulers, and key technical specialists
· Recruit, onboard, and develop engineering and technical talent

Required Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications
· Experience working in a packaging operations environment for liquid cleaners and disinfectants
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering, maintenance, or reliability roles within a chemical or industrial manufacturing environment
· Demonstrated experience leading and developing multidisciplinary engineering teams
· Proven ability to improve team and asset performance through KPI-driven outcomes
· Experience working in PSM-regulated manufacturing environments
· Strong capital project management experience, including commissioning and startup support

Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
· Experience implementing automation, process controls, or digital reliability technologies
