Job Description
An employer is seeking a EU based OT Network Engineer for a travelling role. The role focuses on deploying, migrating, and managing enterprise and industrial network infrastructure across EMEA production sites. The Network Engineer specializes in Cisco Catalyst 9000 switches and Cisco Industrial Ethernet hardware, handling everything from physical installation to complex migrations and Spanning Tree governance. The position also emphasizes working safely within industrial (OT) environments, maintaining IT/OT segmentation, and ensuring production uptime. In addition, the role includes full-site network discovery, documentation in Visio, and translating findings into lifecycle forecasts and bills of materials for future upgrades, with extensive travel required.

Required Skills & Experience
Hardware: Expert-level experience with Cisco Catalyst 9000 Series and good understanding of the Cisco Industrial Ethernet (IE) Series.
Core Networking: Strong L2/L3 skills (STP, LACP, VLAN, VRFs) and familiarity with industrial communication (EthernetIP, PROFINET, Modbus, etc.)
Documentation: High proficiency in Microsoft Visio for creating "As-Built" and "Future" network diagrams.
Asset Management: Experience in creating detailed BoMs and performing hardware audits in industrial or enterprise environments.
Able and willing to travel 1 week per month
