Job Description
The Web Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom web applications and integration projects for Galen College and its sister company, the Galen Center for Professional Development. This full-stack role involves back-end and front-end development, architecture and database design, API creation, and implementation of innovative technologies to support strategic initiatives. The developer collaborates with the Director of Administrative Computing and other stakeholders to ensure solutions meet client requirements, while also providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, managing multiple projects, and maintaining disaster recovery protocols. Additional duties include creating documentation and training materials, assisting with web maintenance, and fostering a positive work environment aligned with Galen’s values.
*Note: current projects require them to have PHP knowledge, but our future projects will require C#.

Required Skills & Experience
• 3 – 5 years of web/software development experience required.
• Server-side experience required including, but not limited to, PHP or C#.
• Preference given to PHP development experience but equivalent experience with Dot
• Net Core (C#) is heavily considered.
Frontend experience with Angular or similar modern frameworks desired.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Associates or bachelors degree in related industry
