Job Description

Special Education (LBD) Teacher: 4 Openings (Elementary and Middle School)
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in any field and immediate enrollment in the MAT program (with a $2,000 annual reimbursement)
• OR a Master's degree in Special Education

Special Education (MSD) Teacher: 2 Openings (Elementary and Middle School)
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in any field and immediate enrollment in the MAT program (with a $2,000 annual reimbursement)
• OR a Master's degree in Special Education
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience working in education
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
As a Special Education Teacher in Shelbyville, KY, you will:
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with Kentucky state standards.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
• Assess student progress through various assignments and tests.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and behavior.
• Collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administrators.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and individualized student support.
• Adapt and create instructional materials to meet diverse learning needs.
• Dedicate time beyond classroom hours for planning, meetings, and professional growth.

Starting salary for candidates with no prior experience: $43,000

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
