Job Description

Day-to-Day:
- Coordinating the development and review of submittals and managing the team to ensure proper inspections are performed
- working with the quality Control Team: 16-18 people
- 2 shifts of quality control inspectors: day shift and night shift
- The project is set up in 3 groups: superintendents, PM & Engineering, and quality control, with a quality control manager, general superintendent, and construction manager
- manages most of the inland water-ways army core of engineering, contract specifications and requirements
- Discussing the work that is taking place each day
- Daily communication with the client to ensure work flows smoothly, and the PM team is prepared

Required Skills & Experience

- Understanding of all documentation that comes and goes, including software and how the government manages QC
- Required to be a graduate engineer or a graduate of a construction management program.
- Construction experience of a similar scope and magnitude ($400 million project), with a minimum of $100 million.
- Engineering management in the quality sector.
- Experience with loft, dam, and spillway projects within the scope of Corps of Engineers projects.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with other Corps of Engineers jobs is a bonus, but not required.
