Provisioning Specialist - ASR Ordering

Insight Global is hiring for a Provisioning Specialist to support our telecommunications partners by provisioning Access Service Requests (ASRs) across ethernet, transport, EVCs for various speeds and activity types of new, rehomes, disconnects, etc. You will be joining a managed services team responsible for ordering and completing ASRs for several of the largest Carriers across the United States. This is an excellent role for someone looking to level up and grow their experience in ASR Provisioning!
Responsibilities include:
- Understanding of Access Service Requests (ASR) with some proven experience. This can include ASR order types such as ethernet, transport, EVCs for various speeds and activity types of new, rehomes, disconnects, etc.
- Read and interpret ASRs to establish the current telecommunications environment and translate/transition to the requested service.
- Communicate with internal resources to obtain any necessary information to complete internal orders for the provision of services and follow up to ensure response.
- Assist in the training and education of other departments or individuals in the company as needed.
- Responsible for delivering a service which provides excellent customer experience
- Input updates and statuses on ASR orders to show where each order stands and what steps need to be taken
- Coordinate the escalation of orders
- Monitor work queues and order assignment

The compensation range for this position varies based on years of experience but can be anywhere between $50,000 and $65,000 per year depending on experience

- 1-2 years of ASR ordering/provisioning experience
- Knowledge on ASR ordering across any of the following: ethernet, transport, EVCs for various speeds and activity types of new, rehomes, disconnects, etc.
- Desire to learn new things and pick up new skillsets in working with multiple customers and order types
- Diligent work style and the ability to manage tasks and a ticket queue
- A Sense of Urgency and the ability to discern and be concerned with sensitive customer issues.
- Proven experience in a Customer Service / Service Delivery / Provisioning role

- Associates degree or higher preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft office, including Excel, word, & outlook
