Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Packaging Engineer in the Louisville, Kentucky area. The Packaging Engineer will be aiding in the launch of a new EV project. The engineer will be responsible for working with internal teams and vehicle part suppliers to discuss the packaging and ensure that it is meeting all needed requirements. The engineer will be responsible for being heavily organized and planning any standing meetings with necessary teams and being responsible for approving of package contents and requirements.

Travel: None
OT: Occasionally
Shift: 7am-4pm

Compensation:
$35/hr to $40/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in packing parts of a vehicle in automotive
- 5+ years of experience using catia, teamcenter, pack assistant, and autocad

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Robotic automation experience
