We are currently seeking a Demand Planning Manager for a full-time, direct hire position based out of our Lexington, KY office. This role involves leading a team of demand planners, balancing workloads, and overseeing the development of item-level forecasts using advanced algorithms and tools. The manager will partner with Sales, Brand, and Finance to create accurate demand plans, monitor performance, and make necessary adjustments. Additionally, they will collaborate with supply planning partners to improve efficiency, drive process enhancements, and utilize planning tools like Arkieva. Proficiency in Power BI, advanced Excel skills, and strong communication abilities are essential. - At least 5 years of experience in operations and inventory roles
- Experience creating a forecast and a strong understanding of forecast algorithms
Specifically Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) outputs
- Proficiency in Power BI and creating reports
- Experience with planning tools such as SAP-APO or Oracle (will use Arkieva internally)
- Advanced excel skills - specifically creating macros would be ideal
Strong communication skills and ability to articulate business insights
