An automotive client in the Georgetown, KY area is looking for a Project Engineer to join their advanced technology department to support production engineering and innovative technology. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
· Build custom robots or manufacturing technologies based on the need of the application using servo motors, linear rails, and controls.
· Work with stakeholders to understand current processes and issues
· Implement customized robotic solution to remedy stakeholders' highest priority problems
· Use strong communication skills to create proposals, negotiate roles and responsibilities, and gain approvals.
· Develop equipment procurement scopes of work and ensure specification is met from planning to production usage.
· Present reports and updates to stakeholders, management, and executives
· Document the project process and maintain project documentation

- 3+ years' experience in creating and implementing processes in a manufacturing environment (budget, schedule, trials, run off, etc.)
- Ability to read CAD & CAM design
- PLC programming experience (Toyopuc, Allen Bradley, Siemens, OMRON, Mitsubishi)
- Robotics or innovative technology experience (AGV, AMR, or R&D experience)
